| Introduction | La Leche League meetings are a great place to meet other breastfeeding mothers. Meetings also provide an opportunity to speak to one of our breastfeeding counsellors, called "Leaders," about your challenges and concerns. Our meetings are non-judgemental, open to women at any stage of breastfeeding including pregnant mothers as well as babies and toddlers, and are confidential. If you need breastfeeding support or information urgently please call the La Leche League National Helpline on 0845 120 2918. Our trained counsellors are volunteers at home with their families so please try to keep calls to daytimes except for emergencies. Our meetings are usually on the first and third Tuesday of the month from 10-12. |
