Introduction	I'm a 30-something mom of two wonderful children, wife to an amazing man (who happens to be a Mexican immigrant), graduate student, activist, and a work in progress. You'll see my profile name is "loqueesperaba". For the Spanish-challenged (lol), this means "what I expected". I sure get a lot of surprises- and learning opportunities- along the way. In that sense, nothing is what I expected.
Interests	Playing with my kids, traveling, running, grad school
Favorite music	I generally like all types of music, but still, after all this time, can't find the appeal of banda music!
Favorite books	Too many to list. There's always at least something good in every book, something that speaks to me.
