| Introduction | Owner of Urbano Cigars, Matt Urbano Matt's passion for cigars began 20+ ago while working in the restaurant industry. As an executive chef passionate about food, rich flavors and complex textures, he worked in many establishments throughout the northeast. After an unexpected relocation to Tampa he quickly became steeped in the local areas rich cigar history. Matt became friendly with a master cigar blender that travels regularly between Tampa & DR. Trusting his new friend & his own palate he took his passion for flavor and teamed up with this cigar master to create the ultimate line of cigars. Urbano Cigars has a full line of premium cigars offering three different wrappers a Corojo, Sumatra & Connecticut that will meet any Cigar smokers needs from the casual smoker to the full on aficionado. In making the transition into the cigar industry Matt Urbano used many passed skills in the development of his cigar line and logo. Matt worked for 6 mths under an Italian Master Chef and 3 years under a French Master Chef where there was a strong influence of classical French cuisine and all things French. He strongly wanted to bring the pass into his current daily life. |
