Introduction	Hi! Welcome to Decision 270. This is my first blog - I've never done one before, but so far I've had a blast picking out templates, colors, fonts, etc.... lets just see how I do with the writing part. Speaking of the writing part, this blog is focused on the 2012 election. I'm taking Colin McEnroe's Media in the 2012 Election class at Trinity College this fall and our main assignment is to write a blog. No books, no papers, no midterms - it all sounds great - right? But writing a blog on the election process will be an interesting yet challenging task for me. The reason it will be a challenging task is because my current media consumption is varied and sometimes inconsistent based on the week. My goal for this blog is to increase my awareness and knowledge of the political process using a multitude of different mediums. If you're reading this, I assume you are along for the ride, so lets see how it goes!
