About me

IntroductionIt's all well and good that boys and girls have different shaped bodies and might need different shaped clothes. Fine, no problem. But that doesn't mean that every shelf of stuff for girls has to be pastel pink, and rough & tumble activities be depicted as male. It may help the profits of retailers to segregate toys, games, comics and books by gender, but we think that kids are smart enough to decide for themselves what they want to read and play with and what characters and role models they want to identify with. And we don't think that bullies who pick on boys and girls who have non-stereotypical interests should be emboldened and encouraged.
