| Introduction | I have lived and worked in Puerto Vallarta for over 15 years. Originally from the hotel world in Toronto, Canada, I moved to Vallarta where I owned and operated two successful restaurants. I began wedding planning and managing events 9 years ago and helped to grow one of Puerto Vallartas premier wedding and event planning companies. I branched out in 2011 and started Weddings Vallarta by Barbara. I've had the honor and great pleasure of producing and designing countless weddings for many remarkable brides and grooms over the years and have built an extensive portfolio; some of which can be seen on my website. In tune with the Mexican culture, married to a wonderful Mexican man and being bilingual, I understand the unique nuances of creating and executing successful events in Puerto Vallarta. I enjoy guiding each client step by step through the process of planning a destination wedding from afar. Most recently I was honored by Destination Weddings & Honeymoons magazine by being added to their A-List of Planners. |
