Introduction	i have always wanted to be a chef...but one day i just might do it. until then, i am a professor and most of the research i do is in my kitchen (too bad that won't get me tenure). i love to cook and bake, savory and sweet, and i like mixing the two. i bake to relieve stress. i bake to provide support. i bake to make myself and other people happy. a colleague told me "thank you, this was such a treat, you brought my day and other's day such joy with this" referencing a lemon bar. it made me happy to make him happy :)
