Introduction	Established late 1999, Dee and David Genovese have been pushing several projects to the masses. As executive producers, their mission was to find a unique mix of rap and hip-hop artists and put out albums that would put the San Jose / Bay Area music scene on the map. Going beyond the local music sound; to stand out in the crowd; to put 408 on the up and up. Money Tree looks to become one of the premiere independent labels on the West Coast (Bay Area), with a lot of networking, hard work and most of all fan support. We are constantly working closer towards that goal. When they met Alan Dash Jr. (Automatic) in 2001, their efforts got a producer for the camp and a production company under the Money Tree umbrella: Sittin On Platinum. The artists and producers at Money Tree have been working hard to promote the label at local Bay Area clubs and with a recent tour in Mexico. The hardest work, though, is in their studio. “When you make music, you’re pouring as much as you can of yourself into it. You can hear quality in that kind of music, like they put the time into it,” says Automatic. When You listen to any Money Tree Ent Projects you can hear that commitment for yourself.
