Introduction i'm actually an 8 year old boy trapped in the body of an old punk'd out grrl, so watch it, y'all've been warned. *smirk* and i'm really a much nicer deity in meatspace than one would think to read me in pixels but after over nine years in exile, i've kept my NYC attitude which shouts 'attention whore' and is a massive bit of my online persona. in truth, if y'all believe the shite i spew, something's very wrong but hey, not my problem. the good stuff: hoorah for Indefinite Leave To Remain status — finally! Endlich! especially since the requisite 5 years were over on my own personal Independence Day: 4. july 2009. it's been ages coming since Anglophilia struck me as a child, so naturally, i deserve it. moving right along, here's a FAQ: the title of this site was lifted off mail from a dude in Cardiff (to all geographically-challenged Statesiders: it's in Wales, another country in the UK); his comment read 'I don't ordinarily read tawdry autobiographies written by nobodies but in your case i happily make an exception'. this was directed to the writty on my real site — Dateline: Bristol — hacked 29. august 2007 and why i'm here (along w/the LCD) for good. but hey, it could be worserer.
Interests everything (thanks to the ADD), and all in minute detail (thanks to the Asperger's)., ripping a page from, the Book Of Larry: i use 'em to my advantage – when i remember (not for nothing: Larry always remembers whilst i rarely do)., and my, Alabama 3, and filmic, Tourettes, are the shouty icing on the proverbial cake., (nb: the rules here require each interest to be separated by a comma in order to form links to hook up w/like-minded people or whatever. since i have no use for things like roolz, the one i just described – which also applies to fave movies, music, and books below – has, like most, roolz, been totally ignored by me., *snigger*, OK., i'll cave for a second, this is me in, good behavior, mode:, sex, drugs, rock 'n' roll, making collages, dancing, choreography, Dada, Surrealism, 20th century art, radical teaching, (so that kids actually dig being educated), abnormal psych, the criminal mind, pill poppin' hollerin' deviants, (that's my, Alabama 3, Tourettes, rising to the occasion)., as well i'm interested in anything that shouts, 'fuck you', to the, masses, the lowest common denominator, i.e., people in general, most of whom in my incredibly incisive estimation, i find totally, BOOOR-RING!, *in a Homer voice*
Favorite Movies LOL, where to begin?, JFK, Pulp Fiction, 12 Monkeys, Pan's Labyrinth, The Usual Suspects, Dead of Night, Citizen Kane, Natural Born Killers, The People v. Larry Flynt, The Big Lebowski, in fact all, Coen Bros, films, apart from their remake of, Blood Simple, all, Alfred Hitchcock, all, Werner Herzog, V for Vendetta, Reservoir Dogs, A Fish Called Wanda, Dark City, Fight Club, The 5th Element, Pi, The Prestige, Memento, David Lean, films based on, Charles Dickens, most, Film Noir, (which i live and breathe), all, Quentin Tarantino, early German Expressionism, (like, FW Murneau), Ed Wood, The 9th Gate, all, Roman Polanski, most all of, Gary Oldman, flicks, and on and on and on. nb:, i despise, 'feel good' movies., if it's 'uplifting', i'm outta there., Punkt Ende.
Favorite Music apart from jazz like, Rahsaan Roland Kirk, John Coltrane, and, Charles Mingus, as well as, Bessie Smith, and, Billie Holliday, there's, Underworld, Crystal Method, Ministry, Fluke, and, The 1812 Overture., but in general, if y'all have to ask yer reading the wrong Godless, (for the dummies amongst us who shouldn't even be here i'm tawkin' about the), Alabama 3, the band who did, Woke Up This Morning, (the themesong on The Sopranos).
Favorite Books too many to narrow down, (which would require actual thinking e.g.), Alice in Wonderland, all of, Camus, all of, Kafka, all of, George Orwell, all of, Vladimir Nabokov, all of, Charles Bukowski, most of, Martin Amis, all of, P L Travers, all of, Oscar Wilde, all of, Irvine Welsh, all of, Hubert Selby Jr, all of the, graphic novels, of, Neil Gaiman, and, Alan Moore, as well as, Howl, by, Allen Ginsberg, & today (20. september 2010), i'm still making headway with (means i'm savouring), The Kitchen Readings - Untold Stories of Hunter S Thompson, (w/big thanks to Chuck);, Wildest Dreams – An Anthology of Drug-Related Literature, by, Richard Rudgeley, (w/big thanks to Stevie: Librarian of Love);, Liberating Cyberspace: Civil Liberties / Human Rights & The Internet, (w/big thanks to Chris);, and, (not savouring but fact-checking myself), Why Do People Hate America?, in other news, i can take forever to smoke a bit of weed whilst admiring any/all, art books, especially those on, Dali, Max Ernst, Joseph Cornell, Surrealism, and, Dada.
