Introduction To those who ask, God Bless you, I too am human... My parents are American born. I'm from Maryland, and so like most African-Americans I am comprised of three different groups: My African descendants came from West Africa, most likely Sierra Leone. My European descendants were English, and given our surname (Fowler) they were hunters and sportsman hired by the King. My Native American descendants belonged to a large family of tribes known as the Algonquins. All-in-all, I had a director who once gave me the greatest compliment. She said, "You are from my tribe: passionate, gifted, smart, funny, and so so special." So get down with me and join the family!
Interests Playing dress up, tear-filled conversations, anything involving tea, calling gym "recess, " guerilla art making, commercial art making, life art making, falling in like with people, being a recluse, being a goof, cleaning and organizing things with borderline OCD tendencies, (&therefore being able to readily find things, )nomadic activities like sleeping on couches, cooking large pots of beans from scratch, Being conceiting with Butch, being unafraid to give compliments, teaching the babies, working hard like my Daddy, smiling like my Momma, Trying, failing, praying, listening, learning, loving, living.
Favorite Movies I mean sometimes I act soooo this list is sick. But for starters, I'm an old movie head. Katherine. Audrey. Ingrid. Rita. Ginger. Nell. Dorothy. Beah. Ruby D. I work for their presence & enduring grace.
Favorite Music My life has a soundtrack that spans from Simon and Garfunkel to Neyo. I won't bore you with the in-between, but let's just say I'm really down with Sweet Honey in the Rock & Trina too.
