Introduction RePHRAME, Residents of Public Housing in Richmond Against Mass Evictions, is an alliance of public housing residents, advocates, and allies committed to housing justice for all in Richmond. We hope to keep the public informed and educated on the issues surrounding the RePHRAME struggle for these three principles: 1. residents right to return 2. 1-for-1 like-kind replace of public housing 3. increased resident participation on the RRHA board. RePHRAME wants to make sure that a) 1-for-1 replacement of public housing is included in any plans to tear down the nearly 1,000 homes in Gilpin Court and Fay Towers; and b) residents of Gilpin Court and Fay Towers have the right to return to the newly constructed homes without being re-screened. In recent months, RePHRAME has been working hard toward these goals.
