Introduction	Hi. I'm a freelance writer living in Maryland. I spent many years teaching high schoolers to write, but am now home with two little ones, taking in other important life lessons: tea party etiquette, how to perfectly push a swing, how to make it all better. Recently inspired by Ian McEwan's Atonement, Marilynne Robinson's Gilead, and David Baker's poem, "Never-Ending Birds." I love Heaney and Yeats; I have read Raymond Carver's "Cathedral" 107 times, and songs I'll take with me to the other side include Van's "Into the Mystic" and Ricky Lee's "Night Train."
