| Introduction | I am 61, but I neither feel nor act it. Once I was beautiful when too foolish to take advantage of it. Now I can be considered "handsome"--you know, "retaining reminders of the lost beauty of her youth". I still have great legs. My hair is unnaturally white. The hair my body insists on producing is the color of LA smog-- when I'm feeling charitable. Something of a misanthrope, I believe that humanity might eventually rise to becoming human. I am heterosexual, hopeful (I am a diehard romantic at heart) and would love nothing more than to be in love right now. I have 6 children 22 - 39 yrs old, 3 girls, 3 boys and 9 grand-children. They are all smart, beautiful, talented and hilarious. Not a ringer in the bunch. Some of them are actually responsible, contributing members of society. I have 2 cats. They're pretty smart, too. Well, actually, they are kittens, but they are "old spirits", I'm sure--whatever that means. What I love: alizarin crimson, writing, feeding people, knitting, mountains, deserts, painting, reading, hiking, biking, dancing wildly, my hands, corvidae, the #9. I also hate some of those things, too. My favorite things: colors, words, trees. |
