| Introduction | My husband and I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and together we run a consulting company called Capacity Builders (www.capacitybuilders.org) that helps non-profit agencies and charities. We have three great kids. I am also a coordinator for homeschooling families at an independent Christian school, and the editor of Kolbe Times, a Faith, Arts and Justice Journal (www.kolbetimes.com). We belong to St. Joseph's Church, a 100 year old parish in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Calgary. St. Joseph's is located in one of Calgary's older inner city neighbourhoods, aptly named Mount Pleasant. We are avid readers who also love to write, and we feel blessed to live in such a beautiful part of the world, in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. In 2011 my husband and I embarked on a journey of formation with the Order of Franciscans Secular, St. Mary's Fraternity.
