| Introduction | Raised in the Southern California, L.A. area. Served four years in the Air Force, the next five racing motorcycles__ I refer to these as my B.C. years. During this time I met my wife Heide, she soon became a Christian and five years later, I made this decision. This Sounds so easy as I type this, but let me assure you it was not; First I had to prove to myself that God was real, so I set out to read the Bible, from cover to cover, sometimes going to the library to see if prophecys were fulfilled (they were). So, every night after work I went into the back room to study, after several weeks, about halfway through the Old Testament, I felt the presence of a unseen entity, very heavy. This went on for several days, and then on Sunday, I went to the first church I came to and went in, knowing no one, but again felt the presence of this entity. And, much to my own amazement, I went forward during the song service__down on my knees with tears flowing__ A life changing event__ I did go back to that special room and finished reading the Bible. This was many years ago but I will never forget that day and thank God daily for not letting me die on some race track during my B.C. years... |
