Introduction	Hi! This is Kristen a.k.a Nectar. I am a freelance artist based in southern Arizona where I am currently learning to paint as well as picking up many other hobbies and expanding my horizons in older arenas. I do pet portraits (http://deernectar.blogspot.com/2011/10/shelter-mews.html) and hand-stitched cat toys (http://deernectar.blogspot.com/2011/09/whats-new.html) made from felt and embroidery floss and many colors of thread. I love big cats and birds of prey and spend my outdoorsy time gardening, biking and also birdwatching, though the binoculars through the window help me keep from scaring off things like the Flickers and Gila Woodpeckers I love. I Also love hummingbirds and deer, and combined with a certain verse of a certain psalm you will see just how I got the name DeerNectar.
