| Introduction | So I am a 35 year old mom, wife and stepmom. My daughter Stella will be 2 in 2 weeks or so and I know that memories of these wonderful days will fade and I would like to preserve them as much as possible. If I can share a bit and make others laugh in the process then that is a bonus! My husband Jim and my 16 year old (in one month) step daughter are also a big part of this wonderful thing I call my life. I am blessed to be able to work 2 days a week as a hairstylist at a great salon and I get to work with some of my closest friends. I know Jesus as my Savior, even if I do not give enough time and energy to showing it. Thankfully I stand on His grace and not my accomplishments, though I pray that I will grow in Him and show His love more every day. I love and am grateful for my family, my home, my job and my faith every day of my life! Life with a 2 year old is crazy and hard sometimes, but I wouldn't have it any other way! The days keep going by, Oh Lord, help me to embrace them! |

| Favorite movies | I gotta say, I am not a huge movie fan, I mean I like them and all, but they don't make a big impression on me most of the time. Dirty Dancing, Marley and Me, Lord of the Rings, The Notebook... if I had to pick a few. |
| Favorite music | Music....Love it....all....Favorites, Dave Matthews Band, Keith Urban, John Mayer, Norah Jones, Simon and Garfunkel, Van Morrison, Adele, Top 40, Rock (not super hard rock), country anything with soul or meaning... love it. |
