| Introduction | Spent most of my early life in Motia, a village in Godda (Bihar), now in Jharkhand. Received formal schooling from Motia Middle School & Motia High Scholl. Graduated in Fine Arts from Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University, Bhagalpur. But instead of going to college the following fall, as expected by my parents, did English (Hons.) and later took a job as a reporter for Jansatta (Kolkatta Edition) In 1996, got attached with a newspaper called Kuber Times(Delhi) as a Sub-Editor Cum Reporter. In 2000, joined Natrang, a theater based noted journal of India, as an Assistant Editor. In the same year awarded junior fellowship on Manjusha Art, a dying folk art of Bihar by culture ministry, Govt of India . 2001; my first solo painting exhibition is organized by Fine Arts and Literature Academy in Delhi. Same year got a fellowship by culture ministry, Govt of India, for one year, on Jadupatiyan kala, a rare art form of Jharkhand. After Natarang, I joined Dainik Bhaskar. Year 2004 took me to a new path and I switched to TV Journalism and the journy is on. |
