Introduction | I own a small recording studio and audio/visual production company, and spend some spare time working on music production and DJ'ing. For part of each year, I work as the supervisor of a large camp of tree planters on Canada's west coast. Once all that is said and done, I don't have much time left over for anything else. On a positive note, I believe that God (or aliens ... probably aliens) put me on this earth to accomplish a certain number of tasks. And right now, I am so far behind that I will never die.
If you want to learn more about music-related stuff, I'd recommend that you check out my video page, which is full of tutorials: www.djbolivia.ca/videos Thanks for checking out my music blog. Check out www.replant.ca/environmental if you're curious why my music industry involvement is minimal for seven or eight months of each year. |
Interests | Music, food, reading, travelling. |
Favorite Movies | Apocalypse Now, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, Silence of the Lambs, Fahrenheit 911, To Live & Die in LA, Oceans 11/12, The Usual Suspects, Casablanca. |
Favorite Music | So many choices ... I could try to keep it to a list of under a hundred groups/artists, but it would be hard. If I really had to pick someone that influenced me a lot, I'd say Neil Young would be a good choice. Take that, Alabama. |
Favorite Books | A Prayer For Owen Meany (Irving), Catch-22 (Heller), Lord of the Rings Trilogy (Tolkien), Animal Farm (Orwell), Lord of the Flies (Golding), One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (Kesey), The Dead Zone (King), To Kill A Mockingbird (Lee), Atlas/Fountainhead (Rand), almost anything by Asimov, Heinlein, Agatha Christie, early Tom Clancy, James Herriott, too many to list ... |
Your hand has been replaced by a rubber stamp. What does it say?
It would have my signature. That would save me so much time.
