| Introduction | Heartsease Homestead is more like a frame of mind than an actual place. I don't live on my dream piece of earth just yet. I am trying to bloom where I have been planted which happens to be a small plot of ground in a tiny little town near the Central Coast of California. So while I'm doing my dreaming of what the future might bring, I am setting out to turn this place that I currently call home into the tiniest little homestead you've never heard of. I have been incredibly inspired by the Dervaes family (www.pathtofreedom.com) I already have rabbits, dogs, cats, fish and the chicks are due to arrive the first week of July. I'd love to have some goats out on the back lawn but I think my husband might draw the line there. Come along with me as I journey down this crazy path. And oh, by the way, they say I am a witch. |
