| Introduction | I am a Construction Manager with Hoffman Construction in Seattle, WA. Hoffman is a NW based contractor working on a wide variety of projects. When Hoffman built the Experience Music Project (EMP) with Gehry Partners, the company was exposed to using 3D CAD to inform and facillitate the construction process for the first time. Since then, Hoffman has used BIM on a number of projects including the Seattle Central Library. As the head of the BIM department at Hoffman, I am interested in developing these tools further to enhance our own efforts, to facillitate collaboration, and to provide a better product to our clients. |
