IntroductionLouise Palvig Edwards is an award-winning Public Relations specialist and head of Louise Edwards Public Relations in Chicago for the past 7 years. Louise headed local and national initiatives at Edelman worldwide PR for 4 years and later became Corporate President at Margie Korshak Inc. Chicago, where she led major brand accounts for over 25 years. As Corporate VP, she headed McDonald's local business for 23 years. In 2010, Louise started Louise Edwards Public Relations in Chicago, handling local business, charity fundraisers, special events, book authors, real estate, senior housing, newsletters and more! Louise is the recipient of nearly 20 industry awards, including 5 Gold/Sliver Trumpets from Publicity Club of Chicago, a Skyline Special Events award in Chicago, a Gold Key Hotel Award, and over a dozen McDonald's Regional/National Communication Awards. Recent projects include author Rob Shindler, Benjamin Marshall Society charity gala coverage at The Drake, project work for marketing communications agency Emergent and collateral materials and publicity for Robert Judelson Photo Exhibit and "It's All About Light" party.
InterestsThere is nothing more exciting than helping someone build their business, help their cause or share their message. Helping homeless animals and people, adult literacy charities, and more are personal passions. Training students/graduates to be career ready Public Relations is also very rewarding.
