| Introduction | It's hard to write about one's self without sounding conceited! I've been writing stories and poetry ever since my mom introduced me to her own hobby of writing. I entered many contests in high school and later on in the SD State Fair and numerous magazines. I'm no doubt taking a risk, but I decided to avoid the rat race of soliciting my stories for rejection letters. My first self published book was strictly for fun, but it took off well and I've sold 500 copies of it already, with inquiries for a second book, which will be available the end of April 2009. I enjoy writing -- it's an escape from reality we all need now and then! |
