| Introduction | Dr. Robert Hashemiyoon received his AB degree from the University of Pennsylvania, his medical degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine, and his clinical training in Internal Medicine at the Washington Hospital Center. He has been practicing in the specialty of Phlebology since 1991. This is the same year he first became a member of the American College of Phlebology (ACP), the premier specialty society for Venous Medicine in the United States. He is also a member of the American Medical Association (AMA) and the American Society of Cosmetic Physicians. Dr. Hashemiyoon has been active in the field of venous disease for over 15 years. He is internationally recognized for his expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of venous disorders. He has been invited to make scientific presentations and been asked to conduct fellowships teaching medical management of venous disease for both national and international physicians. Dr. Hashemiyoon has lectured in the United States and abroad on a wide variety of topics related to Phlebology. He has served on the education committee of the ACP. |
