| Introduction | I am a self proclaimed quilt addict living deep in the Heart of Texas. My addiction to quilts and quilting has taken me into lots of adventures and enabled me to make some of the best friends ever. I work in a public library in Comanche, Texas by day and enjoy creating things(mostly quilty) in my spare time. I have always HAD to create. Some of my earliest memories are of drawing and making things. I have a wonderful husband who enables and puts up with all my quilting activities. That is probably because I really like to cook and keep him well fed. We have a married daughter who lives in Wisconsin with her husband and my sweet grandson. We miss them so much, but enjoy visiting when we can. We also have a small menagerie, but our special little poodle Dixie is our house dog and we are kept busy and are never lonely with her around. |

| Favorite books | To Kill a Mockingbird, cozy mysteries, the Midford series,Elm Creek Quilters series, and all quilt books! |
