Introduction	Hey everyone! I created this blog because I have recently become interested in creating an automated stock trading system for myself, and I have decided to do it using Matlab, MySQL, and Interactive Broker's API. One of the things I have noticed is that it is hard to find detailed instructions on how to do things, so that will be a major focus of my blog. I have really appreciated others that have shared code and helped me troubleshoot things, and so I intend to post detailed info about how to do things as I figure them out myself. Hopefully I can save other people a lot of headache by having all of this in one place. Also, if you are interested in working together on something let me know. Maybe we could teach each other a thing or two. Happy trading!
