| Introduction | I am 35 years old. DH and I had been trying to conceive since the beginning of our marriage in August 2006. I have received treatment from the Pope Paul VI Institute in Omaha, NE. I have been diagnosed with Stage II-III Endo and had 3 surgeries in August / September 2010 to improve my fertility: a laparoscopy, laparotomy and my left thyroid was removed. ... In June 2011, we decided to pursue Adoption as the route by which God would build our family. We were approved to adopt in October 2011, selected by a birth mom on February 10, 2012 and on April 2, 2012 welcomed our son, Luke, into our family! ... We had decided to pursue adoption again as the route to build our family, but we didn't have much luck in getting approved with a local agency. God had another plan for us. Much to our great amazement, in May 2015 we discovered I was pregnant! Emma was born in January 2016. ... It is never lost on me that not-so-many-years ago, I was longing to be a mom of just one ... now I am blessed to be a mom to two miracles.
