Introduction	I'm a small town girl living in a not so small town. I'm a math phd, working as an assistant professor of mathematics at a small liberal arts college. This blog will most likely continue to be a place for me to keep records of my life but I have no idea what that will mean. The title of my blog has been the same since high school so I might as well keep it. The reason for the title of the blog? Here's what I thought up in high school: "Just the girl next door, mostly sweet, although sometimes she can be a little sour." I'm just going to keep it because I am not all that creative, and all of us cringe at ourselves in high school, right?
