| Introduction | The Founder, Creator and Owner of PewterPics and ThePewterPen, Elizabeth is a poet, ponderer, writer, wonderer and photographer. A mother and wife, she lives, plays and works within Greater Victoria, BC on the traditional lands of the Coast Salish, Lekwungen/Songhees and W̱SÁNEĆ peoples, where she has been since fate took a weekend visit and turned it into a permanent relocation. She lives by the tenet of “Open Heart, Open Mind” and her motto for life is “Capture Each Moment; Cherish Every Memory”. Through ThePewterPen Elizabeth shares her poems, ponderings, writings and wonderings. Topics will vary and include her ongoing battle with chronic pain and mental health issues. I write because I do not know how to live in this world without expressing myself. I’m not completely comfortable with sharing my writing and this is not my comfort zone at all - doubt it ever will be. But if one person hears or reads something I wrote and it touches them - then it’s worth it for me to be uncomfortable. Through PewterPics Elizabeth shares her how she sees the world around her with a focus on artistic, nature, architecture, urban and the occasional event and sports photography. |
