Introduction	Hi there! Thanks for checking out my blog and following along on this journey with us. At the risk of boring you, here is a very brief history of my life journey thus far: I was born in New Hampshire and and grew up in western Maine. I went to Skidmore College in upstate NY where I studied exercise science and played field hockey and softball. After college I took 3 years off, during which I traveled the world for 9 months visiting Thailand, Laos, India, Nepal, Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, Costa Rica. After working for a while, I went to medical school at the University of New England in Maine and then completed my emergency medicine training at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine. I met my partner Chris, who is a software developer, in May 2018 and I'm so lucky and grateful that he is crazy enough to join me on this next journey! We're sad to say bye to our cat Kevin, but excited for this next adventure.
