| Introduction | For me, made by hand is an inherent way of life. Creating is not just my livelihood, it is a way of life, I was born with an insatiable desire to create. I grew up in Cocoa Beach, Florida where the ocean became central to my lifestyle. When I'm not on the water with my husband and kids, I can probably be found with a paint brush in one hand and a spool of thread in the other. I have always been an artistic spirit, drawing, painting, sewing and going to great lengths to create as often as possible. I graduated from University of Central Florida, with a major in B.A. Sociology, and a minor in Cultural Anthropology. I am the creator of Gems of the Soil, a collection of home decor items and wardrobe accessories. I hope you love my musings and creations as much as I love designing them. |
