| Interests | I love finding God in the places where I least expected Him ~ the lady from the side of the road who breaks out into a teary eyed, heartfelt rendition of Amazing Grace in her gratitude to God for the ride I have just given her; the homeless man at church who prays for a fellow member of his community to come to know God; the cocaine addict's daughter, who God called me to love, who now turns around and blesses me with "Hello Miss Saralyn" and happy hugs whenever she sees me come home; the diversity and beauty of the many people, cultures, and religions of this world and seeing His hand at work in each of them; the Muslim woman whose eyes are close to tears at the very mention of Jesus' name-oh that I loved Him that much!; the Burmese man who lifts up his hands and prays for Allah's blessing on my friends' new home; the passionate expression of music; the vast array of spices in Indian food; the many colors of flowers; the painting of God in the sky at sunset; but most of all, in the ability of God to heal broken hearts and restore relationships--both with Himself and with eachother! -- These are the things that bring me much joy.
