| Introduction | I'm Georgia Dunn and this is my blog to share sketches, paintings, current projects, and life in general! I grew up in a small town on the coast of Rhode Island. From childhood I've loved to draw and in 2004 I graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a bachelor's degree in Fine Art. Four years ago I fell in love with a friend from high school and we packed up my things and drove cross country together to move Washington where he was working as a video game artist in Seattle. And then three years later, we moved 3,000 miles all over again to return to Rhode Island together. Today we live outside Providence, RI with our three cats and five pet rats. We married in August 2011, and had our sweet baby boy in April 2013! I'm a freelance illustrator and spend my days painting, working on various commissions, and selling my artwork on Etsy. I'm an old fashioned modern girl. I love reading historical biographies in the bathtub, writing web comics, baking from scratch, and exploring antique stores in search of vintage treasures. |
