| Introduction | Pastor Steve is the Senior Pastor of New Horizons Community Church. The postings throughout this blog are some thoughts, devotions, inspiration moments, and hopeful points of encouragement for others who share! My walk is one of faith, learning daily what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. I'm learning how to ride the mountains and the valleys! I'm learning what it means to walk through the storms of life knowing the Master will arrive at just the right time and lead me to safety. I'm learning how Paul felt when he said; "For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do." The hardest thing I've had to learn is that the deceiver doesn't use what I expect him to use to come ofter me. No he uses the good things - these that I do not expect - to deceive me. Life teaches me more each day I live that I need the Master on my side! It's an exciting ride and one that I hope will allow me to hear the words, "Well done thou good and faithful servant"! |
