| Introduction | I am a mom of three crazy and delightful kids, and wife to a tractor-loving sod buster (that's code for farmer). I currently teach first grade but it appears eating bon-bons and watching Soaps is in my future next year. Hey, maybe I will have time to make cakes and blog more!! |
| Interests | cake decorating, baking, and reading. My latest obsession is now blogging (of course). Spending time with the kiddos. |
| Favorite movies | Steel Magnolias, Knocked Up, Dazed and Confused, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Bridget Jones' Diary. I'm pretty much a sucker for romantic comedies. |
| Favorite music | It's a mixed bag: Pretty much anything goes except hard core Rap, Heavy Metal, and Techno. I listen to everything from George Strait to Pink. |
| Favorite books | Wuthering Heights, Anne of Green Gables Series, Love Comes Softly, and my latest are The Sookie Stackhouse Novels. |
Do you believe that forks are evolved from spoons?
I am so glad I got this question because I was actually part of a research panel for Cambridge University that did a study on this (documentary to be aired soon on PBS). Yes, there is evidence that proves the fork is a distant relative of the spoon. We have found the missing link which supports the theory that the fork evolved from the spoon. The "spork".
