| Introduction | Welcome to my blog-site! I created this site to inspire, share and to pursue my love of anything primitive and time worn. I believe life is about balance...my hubs, my kids,and now my precious grand-babies fill my days with unabounding joy....but my creative side has been asleep! This is a missing part I need to wake up, to make my life truly complete! I realize I have a gift for recognizing the beauty in ordinary objects. A passion for simple pieces of necessity and simplicity of nature. I can see beauty in the oddest things! People ask me...."where did you get that?"...or "how did you think to use that piece that way?"...or "don't you have a hard time selling something you made?" The answer is pretty simple...its about the journey, about the thrill of the hunt and find, about spending time digging and asking questions about the history of a piece, enjoying making something beautiful again and breathing new life and purpose into an item that looks like its life is over. My wish for this blog is to inspire you and treat you with items that I re-furbish, and create with a time-worn nostalgia. Enjoy... |
