| Introduction | My work reflects a deep engagement with observation and interpretation — a process of transforming what I see and feel into a visual language that invites reflection. I am drawn to exploring how composition, line, and colour can reveal new perspectives on familiar subjects, offering viewers a renewed way of seeing the world around them. Nature is my primary source of inspiration — an endless well of form, pattern, and emotion. I am continually fascinated by its ability to balance strength and fragility, order and chaos. These qualities shape both the structure and the spirit of my paintings. My work emphasizes clean lines, defined shapes, and bold colour relationships that highlight the underlying design of natural forms. I hold a Certificate in Fine Arts from Emily Carr University and have continued my artistic development through workshops with the Federation of Canadian Artists and courses at local arts centres. I am an Associate Member (AFCA) of the Federation of Canadian Artists (Fraser Valley Chapter), the Port Moody Artists Association, and the Art Focus Artists Association in Port Coquitlam. |
