| Introduction | I'm in the midst of a journey to improve my health, well being, life, etc. by working out and eating healthier. I'm a recent convert (November 2012) to the Church of Latter Day Saints (a.k.a. Mormons) and it's the best decision I've ever made in my life!! I work as a 911 dispatcher. |
| Interests | music, movies, reading, TV, boardgames, going to church, reading scripture (Bible and Book of Mormon), jogging (or slow shuffling), going to the gym, crossword puzzles, people watching, history, gender studies, penguins, travel, dogs, art, museums, photography, watching terrible reality TV, Sex & the City, Seinfeld, fall (autumn), spring, flowers (esp. Gerber daisies), snow that doesn't make you hate it when it forces you to dig your way out of it, home ownership (someday), having a family (someday), peace, hopeless romanticism |
| Favorite movies | Amelie, Goodfellas, The Shawshank Redemption, any zombie/horror movies (even if they're bad), You've Got Mail (yes, I'm a hopeless romantic), all the Rocky movies, Auntie Mame, Hope Floats |
| Favorite music | Pretty much everything...depends on my mood. |
| Favorite books | She's Come Undone, by Wally Lamb because the book reminds me so much of myself and some of the things I've experienced in my life. Eat, Pray, Love, again it was helpful during my divorce, and Madame X which is a historical book about a painting by one of my favorite artists John Singer Sargent. Of course, the Book of Mormon, which changed my life. |
If you were a cannibal, what would you wear to dinner?
If I were a cannibal going to dinner, I would wear a fabric that didn't stain easily and could be cleaned with club soda and water. Dry cleaning is a pain in the butt. I hate when you stain an outfit and can never wear it again.
