Introduction	Dan Smart is a writer, musician, and animal caretaker from Chicago, IL. His poems have appeared in The Los Angeles Review, Spoon River Poetry Review, The Ocotillo Review, The Blue Mountain Review, Jabberwock Review, Little Stone Journal, Red Fez, and The Legendary, among others; and his first full-length collection "The Flowers of Nonchalance" was released in 2023. In addition, he has sustained the daily poetry blog "Rhythm Is The Instrument" since 2013, which presently contains nearly 4,000 original poems.
