| Interests | Writing, time with my husband and family, playing with my kids, exercising, volunteering for the United Way, reading, cooking, being outdoors, drawing, painting, church, budgeting, home remodeling, home decor, gardening and adventures. |
| Favorite Movies | So very many. One thing I would love now that Titanic did it... is to see old classic movies like Gone With The Wind re-released in theaters. |
| Favorite Music | Today? It always changes. Right now on my most played list is Jimmy Buffett, Rusted Root, Israel Kamakawiwo', Mark Ronson, Pharrell Williams and Enya. |
| Favorite Books | I love books. However, I wasn't always able to. Being moderately dyslexic it took me until I was 23 to read at an age appropriate level. I Began writing short stories in elementary school, much to the dismay of my teachers, who had to decipher my cryptic spelling. I remember being in sixth grade writing an extra long six page version of a one page story we were assigned for a writing contest. The winner was published in a local book. My teacher was furious, editing and re-editing my lengthy paper. In the end my story was one of the stories chosen to be published. |
