| Introduction | I am yet another human being who is caught between. Caught between a desire for roots and a love for adventure. Caught between an attraction to the local in an increasingly global world. Caught between the ever apparent limits of our resources, but raised in a world that preaches limits are to be overcome. Caught between the yearning for a God who loved radically and a church that too often is as selfish as I am. And caught between what I think is important and my attempt to align my life with those thoughts. In this world of in-betweens, my goal is to keep moving into the unknown, but in a manner in which I can take note and change course when the signs dictate. So I adventure, but I do so slowly. |
