| Introduction | Having an artistic skill and ability is truly a remarkable gift. Indeed, it is the gift of love to the entire world! I knew I had this gift as a child. My mother couldn't keep me in notebook paper My third grade teacher saved all the murals and drawings I did in her class until she retired forty years later; then called me and returned them to me. My children laughed at the similarities between my third grade work and the work I do today! I draw people from the feet up! That's the only way I can get the proportions right(almost). I paint the life I've lived and grown up with in the South Carolina coastal low country. I enjoy my painting! It brings me great joy. Then, when it goes out into the world, and other's love it, I know I've been successful at sharing the gifts!
