Introduction	I was 52 when I started my current Youtube channel. My life was up in the air like a deck of cards. Proof of that is that I meant to start this blog at the same time and it took me over two years to do it. At the time I was so crippled with arthritis that I could no longer walk, I was cooking in my restaurant and using a walker to get around. I didn't want to close the restaurant, I kept hoping I'd find a way to both have my surgery and save it. I finally closed the restaurant when I could no longer bear the pain. I'm getting two of the surgeries I need, to get back to walking, this winter. I'm going to open a new store in the spring, and I'm also in process of restoring the historic Grand View Hotel, on the Berryville Square, in Northwest Arkansas. You can learn more about that at Ozarts.org. I have no idea what is going to happen, but this is my story. I thought about the title of my site for a long time before I settled on it, because my world is so convoluted I couldn't figure out how to put it under one roof, thus again My52PickUp. So you will see many different threads here, but they all weave together into the fabric of my life. I hope you enjoy it.
