About me

Industry Arts
Occupation Retail/Sole Proprietor of my own shop
Location Northeastern, Pennsylvania, United States
Introduction I am a passionate person about absolutely everyone and everything in my life. I tend to be very outgoing, and my emotions are on my sleeve. I adore my husband, whom I love more than life, and my soul would be lost without him. I love the feel of the warm sunshine on my skin and the cool of the green grass under my bare feet. I love my Lord and Savior, and look to Him every day so I might be a blessing to someone else in my world. I am His love... and I want to share that love with a hurting and scared world.
Interests Gourmet cooking, good ol' fashioned home cooking too, singing, playing piano, creating new and functional home decorating items using old, non-functional items, alternate resources for energy in America, home decorating, home restoration, gardening, how to better love my husband, my family and friends.
Favorite Movies P.S I love you, Mama Mia, Leap Year, The Ugly Truth, Bounty Hunter, The Killers, anything from the classic movie era. Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood (awesome chick flick). Anything Winnie The Pooh, anything Walt Disney. Oh, yes, and ANYTHING George Clooney... for obvious reasons! ;) A new addition.. great for any "foodies" out there, Julie & Julia.
Favorite Music Blues, classic jazz, bluegrass, classical, Celtic, and everything else. I love music. I was raised in a very musical family. We sang a lot together in our church. I used to sing for school events, the traveling choir, I did a couple of my own "concerts" (nothing major) and weddings. I don't do funerals. Those emotions on the sleeve tend to get in the way. Oh, yes, and a couple of silly Kareoke moments of fame. "Bonnie Raitt, You ROCK!"
Favorite Books My Bible, Travels with Charley, Max Lucado, The Classics, To Kill a Mockingbird. I've read that 4 times. My Life in France by Julia Child. I have learned about myself that I have a great fondness for biographies and autobiographies. I suppose I enjoy reading about someone real rather than contrived. But I do like to distract myself with a good fictional story every now and again. I love where it takes me without leaving home!
