| Introduction | My heart was broken for the orphaned and abandoned babies of Kenya when my family took a mission trip to the baby center in October 2006. In order to support the current babies and to enlarge the ministry, we decided to start an "adopt-a-baby" program. It is a joy for me to update the sponsors with pictures and video of their individual babies. It is my way of saying "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" for giving these precious little ones a chance at life. My husband Jamie is on the Baby Centre Board and makes several trips to Kenya a year to attend board meetings and lead teams to the Baby Centre. I am so grateful for my home church, Nappanee Missionary, for allowing myself and my family to take part in such an awesome ministry! I would also like to thank Dana Jacobs and April Hershberger for their work in keeping me updated on the babies coming and going! . It's a big job and so valuable to this ministry! |
