| Introduction | I am a freelance journalist. I have worked in the newsrooms of the Melbourne Herald, the television station Channel Seven in the same city, and BBC Television. I lived in Italy for a number of years and was a senior lexicographer-translator on the Dizionario Italiano-Inglese commissioned by the Italian scholastic publishing house Paravia. In 1999 I founded the Australian travel magazine Coast & Country and edited it until 2011. I am a periodic contributor to The Spectator Australia and Quadrant. |
