In no particular order. |
| Favorite movies | Strictly Ballroom, Black Book, When Harry met Sally, Snow Falling on Cedars, The Bourne Identity, Shrek, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, The Power of One, The Constant Gardener, Starsky and Hutch, Fried Green Tomatoes... There are so many really, but I prefer to either laugh or be made to think and feel, or both... |
| Favorite music | Currently the Dixie Chicks because I enjoy the sound of the music and their poignant lyrics, especially 'The Long Way Around' because it reminds me of my life. I do like everything danceable from Buddy Holly to top 20 and everything in between. |
| Favorite books | Pillars of the Earth, the Thornbirds and Memoires of a Giesha. Cookbooks from other generations and countries. I also enjoy reading factual books amongst those just for a story. For a few good laughs and a quick read I always suggest, 'Coffee, Tea or Me'. In a way I think that does actually fit into my favourite genre of historical fiction. Children's books can be fantastic too: the Adventure series by Enid Blyton, most Roald Dahl, Curious George... |
