| Introduction | Sometime in July/Aug of 2006, I saw the culmination of God working in my life through friends, biblical preaching at church, and circumstances to save me from a long period of callousness to God (maybe even from a false assurance of salvation!) For the first time, He created in me, a consistent (prolonged) personal walk with Christ, bearing fruit and growth. I was broken over my sin and fell on my face, crying out to Christ. He freed me from the power of darkness (Col 1:13-14), and gave me new desires (2 Cor 5:17): to read His Word and live in obedience to it. I still sin of course, but not in the unrepentant, habitual way I did prior to summer '06. He is faithful to forgive (1 John 1:9) and lifts me up to keep on going. My passion is for telling people about how they can have all their sins forgiven and be reconciled to God because of the cross of Christ and His burial and resurrection. I want to help hell-bound sinners see their need to put their trust in Christ alone for salvation! "For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. (2 Cor 5:21)" |
