| Introduction | I am thirtysomething homemaker, mom to two beautiful not-so little girls, and wife to a fantastic husband. I have two dogs, a mutt and a Great Dane puppy (what was I thinking?) Waitin' 4 the Beach comes from a conversation with my best friend Jennie. My youngest daughter is disabled, has gone through major back surgery last year, and has been ill and in the hospital for 10 weeks out of the last 20 or so. Jennie's husband had oral cancer and has gone through intense treatments, only to have it return recently. We decided that after this life, heaven for us will be us relaxing on the beach for a millenium (without the sand up the swimsuit!). |
