| Introduction | I am the youngest of six kids and have been an auntie since I was 12 years old. All of my nieces and nephews are young adults now and a few of them are just beginning their independent lives. I thought it would be fun to write this blog and share some family recipes as well as a few other things I've learned along the way. I learned to bake at home with my mom, then furthered my education by being a baker and cook at my family's restaurant. I went on to run a successful internet business with my husband which we recently sold. Food is my passion, and I'm happy to now be able to devote more time to the subject. I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with my husband of 22 years and our 6 year old twin girls. We are enjoying every (well, almost every) precious moment with our girls. I'm thankful that they have such wonderful cousins, aunties and uncles, both blood related and chosen, to help them shape their lives. I believe we need to lift each other up in this life and have lots of fun and good food along the way. |
